Physical Activity Program

Healthy Body Healthy Mind

At Clovel, we believe that mind and body go hand-in-hand. Our educators understand the importance of physical activity, especially during the intense development period of 2 to 6 years.

Physical activity has many benefits that promote healthy growth and development. It helps in maintaining a healthy weight, building strong bones and muscles, improving balance, coordination and strength.

It also improves sleep and most importantly promotes brain wiring and linkage. We achieve these results through Clovel’s PE program and a number of activities such as:

  • Ball games
  • Balancing
  • Bean bag toss, hoops, stilts
  • Building
  • Catch and Throw
  • Climbing frames/stepping stones
  • Duck Duck Goose, Jack Be Nimble, and other games
  • Following the sound/toy or light
  • Hokey Pokey
  • Hurdles
  • Jumping, running crawling, hopping, skipping
  • Musical streamers
  • Obstacle courses
  • Parachute Play
  • Rolling
  • Stop and Start
  • Wombat wobble
