Granville’s Morning Routine
At Clovel Granville we embed and showcase the children’s sense of independence through elements on their arrival and through activities during the day. The children develop their self-help skills, build on their cognition, environmental belonging and awareness, and social consciousness and this allows the children to inherit a sense of independence while at preschool.
To build on these skills we have a routine that has become embedded into the children which includes; saying “see you later” to mum & dad, putting our bag away in our own locker, grabbing putting on our own hats, washing our hands, putting on our own sunscreen, greeting our friends at the greeting station, putting placing our special news in the special box and putting our fruit in the fruit bowl. Through these activities, we are building foundations that are setting the children up for their future.
