Welcome to Clovel Childcare, your leading childcare centre in Ryde. We aim to develop well-rounded learners from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. through qualified guidance and play-based techniques. Located just 13km north-west of central Sydney, our preschool in Ryde offers comprehensive learning for children from 6 months to 6 years old.
Parents can check in quickly through KindyHub, our online communication system, where you can access updates and progress charts.
From morning drop-off to afternoon pick-up, each day gives children opportunities to play, learn, move, rest and connect with others. Our educators plan purposeful experiences while allowing children to explore their individual interests and develop at their own pace.
Our programme follows the Early Years Learning Framework and introduces literacy, numeracy, science, technology, movement and the arts through engaging play-based experiences. Children might share a story, experiment with numbers, investigate how something works or express themselves through music and creative activities.
Open, airy classrooms and well-resourced outdoor areas give children space to explore, create and build new skills. Each learning environment is planned with the needs of babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children in mind, encouraging curiosity, confidence and age-appropriate independence.
Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late afternoon tea are provided throughout the day. Meals include fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and dairy, alongside multicultural menu experiences that introduce children to flavours from around the world. As children grow, our educators support the communication, confidence, independence and early learning foundations they need for school. Literacy, numeracy, science, movement, performing arts and social development are incorporated into the programme to help children approach their transition to primary school positively.

Clovel Ryde is open from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, giving families flexibility around morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
Families can use the KindyHub app to receive updates about their child’s activities, meals, rest and learning progress. Our educators also value direct conversations with parents and carers during drop-off and pick-up.
We understand that beginning childcare can be a significant change for both children and their families. Our educators take the time to understand each child’s routines, comfort needs, interests and personality, helping them build trust and settle at a pace that feels right for them.
The centre is nut-free and can discuss allergy-related, cultural and religious dietary requirements with families. Parents and carers should provide all relevant dietary and medical information during enrolment so the appropriate arrangements can be discussed.
