Fire Brigade Visit

This month our Clovel centres have been focusing on fire safety. As part of our educational program the Fire Fighters from Blacktown Fire Department, Fire and Rescue NSW came to talk to the children about different types of fire, such as house fires and bush fires. The fire fighters also talked about safe and unsafe fires, who to call when there is a fire and what to do if there is a fire: get down low and go go go. The children then had a chance to sit in the fire engine and use a fire hose!
