Caring for Skittles the Rabbit Sydney Preschool

Here at Clovel, as a part of our preschool program, we teach and show the children how to take care of animals. Meet our pet bunny, Skittles!

Skittles has been a member of our family for the last two years, and has allowed us to help teach the children self help skills, generosity, how to be gentle and care for others.

We teach the children the importance of looking after Skittles, ensuring that she has food, water and a clean area to live in. This ensures that the children learn empathy and responsibility for other living things, in turn being able to transfer and adapt this into their own lives every day.

Founder and Company Director

Lyn Connolly is the Founder and Company Director of Clovel Childcare & Early Learning Centres, a family‑owned group of eight centres across Western Sydney established from her first service at Merrylands. Active in early childhood education since 1977, she also serves as President of the Australian Childcare Alliance (ACA) NSW, representing providers in state and federal consultations, media, and public hearings.
