Goop Sensory Play
As part of our early learning program, the children enjoy playing with goop during sensory play!
Goop is a softer version of play dough that allows the children to have a fun and exciting sensory experience. The sense of touch against the slimy material also stimulates different parts of the brain and builds on their fine motor skills as they manipulate and handle the goop.
Goop is incorporated into various programs such as Literacy. Here, the children apply their manipulative skills to formulate letters using the goop. This helps the children extend on their Literacy skills beyond writing with pencils and helps them apply their knowledge of spelling letters in a new setting.
