As part of our Multicultural program, we teach our children about 🎊 Chinese New Year. 🇨🇳This year, Chinese New Year welcomes the 2021 Chinese zodiac celebrating the Year of the Ox as the Chinese community wish for a happy and prosperous year ahead. 🐂The Ox symbolises hard workers in the background who are intelligent and reliable but never demanding praise. 😄 Our Clovel children enjoyed making red lanterns,🏮 fireworks in arts and craft and eating fried rice for lunch. ☺️

👂🏼Sound is a disturbance that travels through a medium as a wave. In this experiment, tapping on the glass with the spoon disturbs the particles of the glass causing them to vibrate. 🎶🥛The vibrations in the glass are transferred to the surrounding glass, creating a sound wave. When the glasses are all empty, the vibrations and sounds are all the same. 👶🏻At Clovel, Brain Linkage is embedded into our daily program through a variety of activities. One of these activities is Visual Tracking. Visually tracking an object is the ability to follow a moving object with the eyes. 👀 This stimulates the baby’s vision and strengthens the baby’s eye muscles. The educator holds the rattle a small distance and slowly moves it from side to side so the baby can follow it with their eyes and eventually reach out and touch it. 😄👏🏻💕
